Moroccan Hash Browns
Today I am going to share Moroccan Hash Browns recipe which is hit among kids you can give this yummy hash browns at breakfast or at snack time. I got this recipe from YouTube and my kids enjoyed it very much. Even my hubby liked it too :) Serve hash browns with some tomato sauce and orange juice, my kids like this combination...They just love them do try out this recipe for your fussy and picky eater and do let me know in below comments <3
Ingredients
2 patatoes (around 1 pound / 500 grams)
1 tsp crushed garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 large egg
oil
Method
step 1 : Preparing the potatoes
1- Peel the potatoes. when you finish peeling a potatoes, place it in a bowl of water so it does not turn brown.
2- Using the large holes of a grater, grate the potatoes.
3- In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg, salt, pepper , and garlic.
4- The final step is to squeez the grated potatoes to get rid of the water they release, place them in a large bowl, add the egg mixture to them, and mix well.
Step 2 : Frying the potatoes
1- Place the oil in a pan and heat it on medium-high heat.
2- You can check if the oil is ready by putting a shred of potato in the pan- if it's sizzling then you're good to go.
3- Reduce the heat to medium and place little bits of potato mixture and fry from both sides untill they become golden brown.
4- Place the fried potatoes in a plate covered with paper towel to absorb any excessive oil.
5- Serve immediately (hot) with tomato Ketchup!
