Khara Biscuit / Tea Biscuit (Hyderabad Style)

Most Popular Tea Biscuit in Hyderabad...you all will love it, Its taste same like Bakery Biscuit :) Here is the Recipe. Ingredients All purpose Flour (Maida) - 1 cup Butter Soften - 1/2 cup Salt - 3/4 tsp Powdered Sugar - 3 1/2 tbsp Milk Powdered- 3 tbsp Custard powdered - 2 tbsp Baking soda- 1/2 tsp ( use Ammonia if u had)  Method Salt, sugar, custard powder, milk powder and baking soda should be measured and kept ready. Cream flour(maida) and butter nicely first by mixing it with hand and then you can use a hand mixer to beat well for 5-8 minutes till fluffy. The color will change  to pale yellow. Now add all the Dry ingredients Salt, sugar, custard powder, milk powder and baking soda and again beat to combine and it crumbles. Using your hands combine the mixture and form a smooth dough. Restaurant Style Seekh Kabab

These Seekh Kabab Tastes just like Restaurants..your own delicious kabab can be grilled or just cooked on a griddle..this yummy kababs are shared by my Sister Hajra :) Ingredients 1/2 kg mince 3 tbsp chickpea flour(besan) salt Coriander seeds powder- 2tsp Green Chilly-6 (paste) Garam Masala-2tsp Red Chilli powder-2tsp Turmeric powder-1 tsp Ginger garlic paste-4tsp Cilantro/kotmir-2tbsp finely chopped 2 medium size onion deep fried Oil-to based the kababs, and deep fry the onions. Method Wash mince and drain the water completely.Add all the ingredients except oil.Mix nicely with your hands kneading everything together. Divide the mixture evenly and share into cylinders. Dip your skewer into oil and insert it into the cylinders just to make a big hole in each one.Remove the skewer and continue doing it with all the shaped cylinders. Take a baking tray and line it with aluminium foil, place the holed cylinders on the tray and baste them with oil.Grill/broil...

Basic Butter Cake

This is the first cake i ever made. Great basic cake for making kids' lunch boxes. By Hajra Ingredients 185 Grams Butter softened 1 Cup Caster Sugar 1 tsp Vanilla Essence 3 egg large 2 Cups Self-raisingFlour 1/4 Cup Milk Method Preheat Oven to 180 C and grease a 20 cm cake tin well. In a large bowl, beat  the butter , sugar and vanilla essence together with an electric mixer or whisk untill light and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Shift the flour over the mixture alternately with the milk, adding a third at a time. Stir in lightly. Spoon batter into prepared tin and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a skewer pulls clean from the middle of the cake. Cool cake in tin for a few minutes before turning out onto a wire rack. Cake cab be iced or dusted with icing sugar if desired. I did my cake icing with nutella n decorate with m&m's....(let your kid do the decoration they will enjoy doing it. ) :)
