Home Made Gulab Jamun

Lovely Home made Gulab Jamun! Made from fresh Khoya and Flour (maida)..It came out so soft and yummy just we get from Mithaiwala shop (sweet shop) Ingredients Khoya 250gm Flour (Maida) 1/2 cup Sugar 3 cups water 3 cups Baking powder 1tsp Cardamon powder 1/2 tsp Ghee ( For frying) 1/2 kg Method Sieve the flour and baking powder. Knead the khoya gently to make a smooth paste, add the sieved flour and knead to a soft dough. Divide the dough into 36 small balls and roll it smoothly so that there are no cracks.Keep covered under a wet cloth. Boil the sugar with the water till the syrup is sticky to the touch. Remove from the stove, add cardamom and keep aside. Heat ghee or the oil and fry the balls few at a time, over low heat, till cooked and  evenly browned. Remove ,drain and immerse into sugar syrup. Repeat until all the gulab jamuns are fried. Allow to soak in the syrup for 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle with rose water rose water and serve. Do not store in R

Spicy Falafel  A healthy burger that filling too. These are great for anyone who craves a big bite but doesn't want the calories. Ingredients 2 tsp each cumin seeds 2tsp coriander seeds 400g chickpeas (soaked overnight or for atleast 4-6 hours) drained well 1/2 tsp baking powder 2tbsp corn flour 2-4 green chilies (adjust to your taste) 2 big garlic clove, crushes 3 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves Few drops of lemons juice again adjust to your taste. Ingredients All purpose Flour (Maida) - 1 cup Butter Soften - 1/2 cup Salt - 3/4 tsp Powdered Sugar - 3 1/2 tbsp Milk Powdered- 3 tbsp Custard powdered - 2 tbsp Baking soda- 1/2 tsp ( use Ammonia if u had)  Method Salt, sugar, custard powder, milk powder and baking soda should be measured and kept ready. Cream flour(maida) and butter nicely first by mixing it with hand and then you can use a hand mixer to beat well for 5-8 minutes till fluffy. The color will change  to pale yellow. I made these crunchy Oatmeal Chicken for my Lunch today. Actually i though of making chicken pakoras. But when i saw Oats lying in my pantry, I got an idea of making these recipe. When they are prepared it turned out yummy, and we finished every thing within 5 minutes. It doesn't require any chutney or ketchup. Drain the water properly from the chicken then start adding red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, tomatoe puree, food colour & pieces of paneer. Recipe Shared By Amena Mukarram Reshmi Paratha Ingredients Flour 1/2 kg Yeast 1tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Clarified Butter (Ghee) as required Cream 1 cup Sugar 2 tbsp Water as required Method In a bowl add flour, yeast, salt, cream, sugar, with water as per requirement. Knead it and keep it for half and hour. Now roll a roti of this dough pour 1/2 cup clarified butter on it and sprinkle a little bit of flour and make a roll. Now cut the ball with the help of the knife and refrigerate for half an hour. Roll it like roti and fry it on the griddle with clarified butter. Delicious Reshmi Parathas are ready to serve.

Rub with lemon juice from inside as well as outside. In a big bowl add curd and all the spices and food color mix well and apply this marinade on the chicken and with the remaining marinade, Marinate the chicken for 3 to 4 hours in the fridge. Ingredients  Beef meat 1/2 kg  Ginger garlic paste 2 tbs Red chilli powder 2 tsp  Turmeric 1/4 tsp  Tomato 1 chopped  Green chilli 3  Coriander leaves 2 tbsp Oil Method In a cooker add meat, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt & red chilli powder. Add 2 cups of water and cover with lid and pressure cooker it for 6,7 whistles or until the meat gets tender and cook uncovered until the water evaporates. Heat a pan add oil and fry meat for five minutes.  Add green chilli, coriander leaves. Mix well.  Now lower the heat of stove let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Close the stove. Mango Trifle is made from Sponge Cake, Fresh Mango and fresh cream..Simple and easy Recipe you just have to layer them and serve it chilled... Ingredients 1 kg sponge cake 1 cup mango peeled and cubed 1 cup fresh cream 2 tbsp vanilla essence Few strawberries/ biscuit crumbs or any of your favourite fruit for garnishing Method Cut spong cake in cubes and assemble in a dish. Squeeze out the juice from mango pieces and stir in 6 tbsp of water and vanilla essence. Sprinkle the prepared juice over the cake and keep aside for 15-20 minutes. Cover the cake with mango pieces and pour the cream ver top. Decorate with some fresh strawberries or any desired fruit and refrigerate for few hours. Serve Chilled.

Easy and yummy Chana Dal on iftar table..love this yummy snack during iftar time. Ingredients Spilt chana daal 1 cup Turmeric 1/2 tsp Salt to taste Black pepper powder to taste Finely Chopped small green chillies 1 tbsp Cilantro 1/2 cup, finely chopped Mint leaves 2 tbsp , finely chopped Lemon juice to taste Method 1. Wash and soak the dal for 4-6 hours preferably. Drain the water away and wash them well. 2. Now boil them in warm water, taking care you do not add too much of water to it. When the dal has soften up, make sure it not mushy an still in its shape, (the water shouldn't be there, it should be dry).. So while boiling water,add only one cup of water and if its dries up before the dal being softened, add little more amount of warm water to it. 3. Remove the dal and add black pepper powder, salt, cilantro , lemon juice and chopped green chillies. Serve it warm.

Serve 4  Time 10 minutes  Ingredients  Ricotta Cheese (paneer) (you can even use Cream cheese) 1 tsp honey optional  2 tbsp ground almonds (grind them or crush it) 12 medium  dates  12 almonds or Pistachios if using pista use unsalted shelled  Method In a small bowl, stir ricotta and honey until well combined. honey is optional I did not add. With a sharp knife, cut a lengthwise slit on 1 side of each date. Remove pits. Using a small spoon, stuff each date with 1 tsp ricotta mixture. Press 1 almond or pistachio on top of each date. Boil around 1-liter milk with 10-12 deseeded dates and few cardamoms When the milk changes it colors to pretty cream remove from heat and let it cool on room temperature. Simple Avocado spread & Omelette Sandwich  quick and easy for iftar :) By Hajra Avocado spread 1 Avocado mashed well Salt  Lemo juice  2tbsp Green chillies 4 Garlic cloves 3 Egg 1 Avocado sandwich bread Make an omelette with your favourite veggies. or just sliced boiled eggs. Toast bread spread the avocado on one side and tomato sauce on other. Keep the omelette in between the slices. Serve with chilli sauce.

In Ramadan, Hyderabad is famous for Harees/daleem  try this easy harees at home with easy step by step recipe.This yummy and Delicious recipes is shared by my aunt Sayeeda Siddique who is from Riyad :)  Ingredients  1kg boneless mutton 3 cups cracked wheat 4 teaspoon ginger garlic paste  1 cup urad daal  1 cup chana daal 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1 cup curd 1 cup light golden color crisp fried onions 1/2 cup cashew nuts  1 tsp garam masala powder 1/2 tsp black peppercorns 1 cinnamon stick  2-3 cloves 2-3 cardamom  1/2 cup ghee  1 cup fresh coriander leaves 1/4 cup fresh mint  5-6 green chillies salt Method Step 1: First wash and soak the cracked wheat for at least 1/2 hour. Then wash and clean the mutton thoroughly, trimming off any excess fat.
