Bread Pakora

Yummy Bread Pakora By My Friend Orub Fatima Ingredients  Bread  Gram Flour (Besan) 1 cup Maida/All Purpose 1 tsp  Turmeric powder 1/2tsp Chilli Powder 1tsp Cumin powder 2 pinch Green Chilli 2 finely chopped Salt to taste  Water  Oil  Method Make a  Batter by adding all the material except bread and oil For frying: Heat oil for shallow fry, take bread cut it in pieces or shapes you like, dip in batter and fry it properly from both sides till it changes its colour. Serving: Take a platter keep bread pakora in it and serve it with chutney or sauce. 

Egg-less Cake (UsingPressure Cooker)

Making a cake using pressure-cooker Use the cooker safely Ingredients 1 and 1/2 cup plain flour 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 cup powdered sugar 1 egg 1/2 cup refined oil or plain butter 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup milk 1tsp vanilla essence 1/2 tsp baking powder Method Mix them all, Mix all of the ingredients in a container: flour, milk, butter or oil, chocolate powder, vanilla essence, baking soda, baking powder. mix it well with beater or whisk it well. pour the salt in the pressure cooker 1/4 filled.This salt is used to make an environment like oven in the pressure cooker.Put the salt and light the flame underneath. Keep the container in the pressure cooker as you do with your oven and leave it for 45 minutes on low medium heat. Check the cake whether it is baked or not by inserting a toothpick. Take the cake out with care. Frost it and decorate with your desired frosting. Serve it cold.

Cheesy Bread Bites  My own Recipe  Ingredients Bread Slice 4 (cut out the side) For Kneading dough you will need / If you want skip this kneading method you can use puff pastry sheets. Yummy Fruit Custard our all time favourite...We make this Sweet desert at special occasions like Eid or get-togethers... Ingredients 1/2 liter Milk 2 tbsp Custard Powder Sugar as per taste 1 Can Fruit/Raw Fruits (Finely Chopped - Apple, Banana , Grapes , Pineapple , Pomergranate , Mango) Dry Fruits (Optional) Method In a large non-stick saucepan at medium heat. Add milk allow to cook in low heat for 10 minutes. Then add the sugar and stir till it dissolves. In a small amount of milk add custard powder. Mix it well without any lumps. Then add that custard paste into the boiling milk and keep stirring till it's creamy and thick on a low flame. Remove from the heat when it reaches the desired consistency. Allow the custard to cool down.. Add fruits to the custard cream and refrigerated. If desired garnish with dry fruits and vanilla ice cream. Serve it cool.

Chikki Peanut Bar

They are so many Childhood memories with us...In childhood days, I love to have Peanut bars from local shop we buy and have it yummy... instead of buying  you can also prepare chikki at home!! very easy to make with some simple ingredients from kitchen shelf its also called Chikki, its crunchy sweet in taste full of flavours... Ingredients 1 Cup Peanuts 3/4 Cup Jaggery (Gur (Sticky type) 1tbsp Ghee Method Roast the peanuts. Cool and remove the skin. roughly pound. Grease a flat plate with 1 teaspoon ghee. Cook jaggery till a thick syrup is formed. to test that syrup is ready put a drop in cold water. if it forms a firm ball the syrup is ready. Add the peanuts and the remaining ghee. mix and immediately spread on the greased plate.roll out to even the surface. Let it cool slightly before cutting into desired shapes.

Suji K Halwa

Suji Ka Halwa one of My fav Ingredients 2 Tbsp Ghee 1 Cup Semolina (rawa) 1 Cup Milk 100 Grams Khova 3/4 Cup Sugar 1 tsp Cardamom Powder (elaichi powder) Dry Fruits (Almonds, Pistachio, Raisins, Muskmelon seeds) Method Heat the ghee in a pan. Add the semolina and roast it till it changes in light brown colour. Remove from the pan and keep aside. Combine 1 cup of water, milk, sugar, khova  and cardamom powder and mix well bring it to boil. Add the roasted semolina and stir continuously till sugar syrup and semolina get mixed thoroughly. Add the dry fruits, cover and cook for 2 minutes. serve hot.

Once the chocolate has melted completely, add the chocos to the melted chocolate and mix well in a lightly greased plates or tray spoon out small cluster of chocos and decorate the sprinkles or  dry-fruits on top allow to chill in the fridge for 10 minutes or till set.Enjoy...:)kid n adult will love to have this mini bites more

Chocolate Cake With Vanila Ice-Cream

Mashallah today I again tried my third cake in pressure cooker it was amazing attempt..It came out so yummy soft and creamy...finalyI learned to make cakes... Ingredients  2 Cups Flour Maida  1 Cup Sugar Powder  1tsp Baking powder  1 Cup Cocoa powder 2 tbsp hung curd  1/2 tsp Coffee powder (Nescafe) Oil 1 cup 1 Cup Milk  1 Egg 1 tsp Vanilla Essence 5 Almonds chopped or crushed  5 Cashew nuts Chopped or Crushed  For Chocolate sauce you will need  2 Tbsp butter 2 tbsp milk  2 tsp sugar 2 tbsp of cocoa powder 2 tbsp of cream  Method for making chocolate sauce Take a double boiler and add the butter ,sugar,milk,,cocoa powder and cream. Slowly cook and mix well.Let it cook for 2 minutes until the mixture is well settled in a sauce like consistency. Cabbage Chana Dal (Bengal Gram Lentil)

Cabbage with chana dal very easy to make and delicious in taste.. Ingredients Cabbage shredded one One small cup Chana dal Green chilli 4 to 5 Ginger garlic paste 1tsp Turmeric 1/2 tsp Salt Oil Cardamom 4 Cloves 2 Coriander leaves 1 bunch Curry leaves 5 Chana dal soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes Method Heat oil in pressure cooker add oil. Now add cardamon,cloves,green chille than add soak Chana dal turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste. mix well, Now add cabbage and half cup water.Close the lid of cooker and let it whisle for 2 0r 3 depend on your cooker types. Open the lid and add salt mix well. At lastly put coriander and curry leaves simmer it on low heat for 3 minutes and its done Voils! You can serve it with chappati.. Best for Breakfast..

Moong Dal

Delicious Moong Dal...Very yummy made by my mom <3 Ingredients  2 Cups moong dal Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic 1/2 tsp  Green chillies 4-6  Tomatoes 2  Onion 1  Cumin powder 1/2 tsp (jeera powder Method  Roast Moong dal for 2 minutes until light brown on low heat. Clean & wash moong dal in water. Drain and keep aside. Combine the dal,salt,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,green chillies,tomatoes and 4 cups of water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.keep aside. Tempering (Bagar) Heat oil in a pan add the onion & fry untill dark brown  (like biryani fried onion). Sprinkle cumin powder.garnish dal with the fried onion and bagar.

Mash Dal / Black Gram Lentil

Black gram aka mash ki dal is my favourite lentil and it is good for ur health...Must have this lentil in winter and rainy season.... Ingredients Mash dal  2 cups Green chilli 6 slit Mint leaves 1 cup Coriander Leaves 1 cup Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp Salt Ginger garlic paste 1tsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Tomatoes 1 Oil Method For Dal Wash mash dal nicely. Take Pressure cooker and add full 2 cups water. Close the lid and led with whistle and let it cooked for 3 to 5 minutes as per your cooker 3 TO 5 minutes close the cooker and set aside. Now lets begin with tempering part take a deep pan or kadai. and cooking oil to it. Now add onions and fry until crispy. Then add some salt, green chillies and fry it on low heat. After its done take  out fried onions and green chillies and set aside. Then next step in the same pan add chopped tomatoes,turmeric,ginger garlic paste,coriander and mint leaves. Vanilla Moist Cake...Made this yummy and moist cake on demand of my kiddos...mashallah it was so yummy and soft...<3 Ingredients 2 cups all purpose flour,spooned and leveled, sifted after measuring 1+ 1/4 cup sugar 1 tbsp baking powder 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 eggs Cream Cheese Frosting 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 8 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces, on room temperature 1 tsp pure vanila extract 1 cup confectioners sugar, plus extra if needed Whipped Cream Frosting 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Instruction Preheat ovento 350 degree F. Grease and flour two  8 inch cake pans. In a large mixing bowl sift together flour,sugar,baking powder and salt. Add butter, milk and vanilla, Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for 3-4 minutes, occasinally scrapping sides of bowl. Add eggs,beat for 3 more minutes. Butter Sponge cake in Pressure cooker Ingredients  Flour 1 1/2 cup  Baking powder 1 tsp Sugar powder 1 cup Egg 1 Milk 1 1/2 cup Vanilla Essence 1tsp  Butter 1/2 cup  Method  Sieve the flour,baking powder and sugar powder. cream the butter,then add egg,vanilla essence and beat well till light anf fluffy. then add the flour mixture alternately with the milk and stir well till smooth. pour this batter into a greased  and floured baking tin. Put 3 cups salt in the Pressure cooker. this salt is used to make ENVIRONMENT like Oven in the  Pressure Cooker.Put salt and light the flame underneatg Keep the container in the pressure cooker as you do with your oven and cover the cooker with lid but DON'T put the Whistle. Arabic Bites Authentic recipe for Mutton Masala.This Method of making mutton masala is our family authentic recipe which is very different and unique in taste... Ingredients 1/2 Small Onion 1tsp Poppy Seeds Roasted 2tsp Kaju Roasted 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder Salt to taste 2 Medium to hot Green Chillies 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 2tsp Curd Few Drops of Lemon 4-5 mint leaves 1 bunch Coriander leaves 400 gm Mutton 4 Tbsp Oil Garam Masala according to your taste or just add 1/4 tsp Method In  a Pressure Cooker, add clean and washed meat. To the meat add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder, onion, mint, oil and coriander leaves. And mix well. Add water according to your pressure cooker type. meat will releases water. Till the meat gets cooked, grind the roasted poppy seeds and kaju with curd and garam masala,to a fine paste. Dum Ka Keema

Ingredients  Mince Meat 125 gm Curd 3tbsp Tomatoes 1  Water 1  Cumin Powder 1tsp  Coriander Powder 1tsp  Garam Masala 1 tsp  Salt  Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp  Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp  Oil Method Heat the Cooking oil in a wok or deep pan, on medium heat. Add the ginger and garlic paste and fry for 1 minute. Add the minced meat and all the powdered spices- Coriander,cumin,garam masala,salt. Add the tomatoes, curd and 1 cup water and cover it with lid let it cook on dum (steam) stirring often to prevent from burning. This should take about 5 to 10  minutes. Turn the fire off, Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with hot chapatis or parathas... Decorate it with mint leaves, green chilli and tomato flower rose...

Gravy Chops  Today we had gravy chops with hot chapatis and this dish is our all time favourite...I tried my mom's recipe...She makes this chops every weekend and the taste was so yummy..... I can't describe the taste for that you have to try this recipe and do comment below how it came out... <3 :)  Ingredients Lamb Chops 250 gm Mint leaves 1 bunch Coriander leaves  2 bunch Green chillies 3 Red chilli powder 1 tsp Onion 2 chopped finely Salt to taste Ginger Garlic Paste 1Tbsp Lemon Juice 1Tbsp Oil Method 1.Grind Mint, Coriander leaves and Green Chillies  in a blender and keep aside. 2. In a pressure-cooker add lamb chops with chopped onions, salt, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix well. 3. Add Grind paste with half glass water in it. Close the lid and bring to high pressure, then let it whistle for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, Reduce pressure, and  remove the lid. Ingredients : Mutton 1/2 kg Curd  one cup mix with one cup of water 2 big onions for paste Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp Salt to taste Turmeric  1/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp Mutton Stock 1(Optional)  Almonds 8 Cashew nuts 7 Saffron 1 pinch Oil  4tbsp Cardamon 2 Cloves 2 Cinnamon 2 Bay leaf  2 Shazeera 1/2 tsp Handful of Coriander leaves Handful of Mint leaves Green Chilli 4 Method Step 1 : Grind onion, 2 green chili, half coriander, half mint  and make a paste. Grind almonds, cashew nuts make a paste. Marinate mutton with curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, mutton stock, salt, onion paste, almond and cashew nut paste. mix it well. Step 2: Take a Pressure Cooker and add oil in it. Shikampuri Kabab Ingredients : Kheema/mutton mince 500 gms  Channa daal 1/4 cup oil 2 tbsp Green Cardamoms 4 nos Cloves 4  Cinnamon 2 sticks  Shahi jeers 1/2 tsp (black cumin seeds) Onion 1 Chopped  Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp  Red Chilly Powder 1 tsp  Turmeric 1/2 tsp Fresh Mint handful Fresh Coriander  handful Green Chillies 2  Oil to Shallow fry  For Filling Onions 1 Chopped Finely  Green Chilliies  2 Fresh Coriander chopped  Fresh Mint 2 tbsp  Chopped  Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp  Salt to taste Method : 1. Heat oil in a Handi.Add green Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon and royal Cumin Seeds. 2. Stir over medium heat. Now add onions and garlic. Saute till done. 3. Now add the coriander, mint and green chillies.stir. 4.Add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil till the daal is cooked and the water is completely absorbed.    5. When the meat is cooked, remove, cool and transfer to a blender and mince. For the Filling.

This Dish Sounds Exotic and tastes it too! Add it to a dinner party menu and friend will think you slaved to prepare it for them.In truth, Nargisi Kofta is fairly simple to make. :) Ingredients : 250 gms minced meat 4 boiled eggs 2tsps ginger garlic paste 3 green chillis chopped finely 1 bunch fresh coriander leaves 2tbsp fresh mint leaves 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1tbsp red chilli powder 2 1/2  tbsps oil 2 tbsps grated dry coconut 2 1/2 tbsps poppy seeds 2 onion  finely sliced 4 tbsps curd 1 tsp garam masala powder salt to taste Method 1. To prepare nargisi koftas,first clean meat in cold running water and drain well. Add half of the chopped green chillis, half of the garam masala powder,salt,turmeric powder, 1tsp ginger garlic paste and half of the coriander leaves and half of the mint leaves to the mince meat.
