Moong Dal

Delicious Moong Dal...Very yummy made by my mom <3



Ingredients 
2 Cups moong dal
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic 1/2 tsp 
Green chillies 4-6 
Tomatoes 2 
Onion 1 
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp (jeera powder

Method 
Roast Moong dal for 2 minutes until light brown on low heat.
Clean & wash moong dal in water. Drain and keep aside.
Combine the dal,salt,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,green chillies,tomatoes and 4 cups of water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.keep aside.

Tempering (Bagar)
Heat oil in a pan add the onion & fry untill dark brown  (like biryani fried onion).
Sprinkle cumin powder.garnish dal with the fried onion and bagar.
