Chocolate Cake With Vanila Ice-Cream
Mashallah today I again tried my third cake in pressure cooker it was amazing attempt..It came out so yummy soft and creamy...finalyI learned to make cakes...
Ingredients
2 Cups Flour Maida
1 Cup Sugar Powder
1tsp Baking powder
1 Cup Cocoa powder
2 tbsp hung curd
1/2 tsp Coffee powder (Nescafe)
Oil 1 cup
1 Cup Milk
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
5 Almonds chopped or crushed
5 Cashew nuts Chopped or Crushed
For Chocolate sauce you will need
2 Tbsp butter
2 tbsp milk
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp of cocoa powder
2 tbsp of cream
Method for making chocolate sauce
Take a double boiler and add the butter ,sugar,milk,,cocoa powder and cream. Slowly cook and mix well.Let it cook for 2 minutes until the mixture is well settled in a sauce like consistency.
Method for making cake batter
Mix all of the ingredients in a container: flour,milk,oil,egg,vanilla essence,baking powder,cocoa powder and curd
Mix it well with beater or whisk it well.
Pour the batter in the greased pan.Don't fully fill the container.add a almonds and cashew nuts on top.
Put 3 cups of salt in the pressure cooker.This salt is used to make an environment like oven in the pressure cooker.Put the salt and light the flames underneath.
Keep the container in the pressure cooker as you do with your oven and cover the cooker with lid but dont put the whistle.
Leave it for 45 minutes on low medium heat.
After 45 minutes check the cake whether it is baked or not by inserting a toothpick.
Take the cake out with care.Leave it and let it cool doen for an hour.
When the cake gets at room temperature.Cut the top part of cake to make it flat.
Now add thick layer of Vanilla ice cream on cake.Once you have enough ice cream on it try to smooth it out with spatula.
Place cake into freezer before ice cream melts
Take out the cake from freezer and place another part of cake on it.
Add the chocolate sauce on top and spread it all over the top of cake and serve.
