Butter Sponge cake in Pressure cooker
Ingredients
Flour 1 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Sugar powder 1 cup
Egg 1
Milk 1 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence 1tsp
Butter 1/2 cup
Method
Sieve the flour,baking powder and sugar powder.
cream the butter,then add egg,vanilla essence and beat well till light anf fluffy.
then add the flour mixture alternately with the milk and stir well till smooth.
pour this batter into a greased and floured baking tin.
Put 3 cups salt in the Pressure cooker. this salt is used to make ENVIRONMENT like Oven in the
Pressure Cooker.Put salt and light the flame underneatg
Keep the container in the pressure cooker as you do with your oven and cover the cooker with lid but DON'T put the Whistle.
Leave it for 45 minutes on low medium heat.
After 45 minutes check the cake whether it is baked or not by inserting a toothpick.
Take the cake out with care. Leave it and let it cool down for an hour.
When the cake gets at the room temperature.Serve with Hot Coffee.
